5/31/2023 Committeeman Jim RUH hosts the Annual Shaun O'Hara Foundation Golf Outing to fight cystic fibrosisCommitteeman Jim RUH loves to help people. He works closely with NFL Champion Shaun O'Hara on his quest to fight against cystic fibrosis. Committeeman RUH has been a champion for this group for many years and will continue to do so. Your Township Committee and Township Administrator showed up strong to support the cause. Your Township Leadership Team with the Grand Marshall... The Grand Marshall... By the way... Delivered a powerful and heartfelt speech!  Your Mayor, Shawn Lipani, with the Hillsborough Girl Scouts Did you know? The Hillsborough Girl Scouts sold over 43,000 cookies this year!!!!!  Deputy Mayor Britting walked with his sons and the Hillsborough Baseball and Softball League, then caught up with the Vivek Rao and the Boro Marharaja Club.   Committeeman and Former Mayor and Deputy Mayor Doug Tomson stands the for his final time, before he honorably retires from the Township Committee at the end of this year, at the wreaths of honor.  Committeeman Ciccarelli and Committeeman Ruh stand during the presentations by the Township.  Mayor Lipani and Committeeman Ciccarelli walked and presided in the Neshanic Memorial Day parade on Monday!  Originally called Decoration Day, the Memorial Day Holiday celebration honors all soldiers who died during service to the nation. Memorial Day was declared a national holiday through an act of Congress in 1971, and its roots date back to the Civil War era, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs. We place the sacrifices of our veterans in the highest regard in our town.    Pictures courtesy of the WeLoveYou Foundation Mayor Lipani kicked off the event with inspiring words and described how Hillsborough is a beautiful town and the continued beautification is a primary focus in 2023. The Hillsborough Township Committee worked closely with the WeLoveYou Foundation and their corporate sponsor on enhancing a park in Hillsborough. Also pictured here is Committeeman Ciccarelli who helped plant two trees and discuss important sustainability topics with the County officials.
