​Hillsborough’s beloved Doug Tomson looks to spend more time with his family in the coming years.

Doug Tomson, announced this January that he will not be seeking reelection to the township committee. Tomson is poised to focus more on his professional career and spend more quality time with his daughters and his wife. Over the years, Tomson played an integral role of protecting the township on levels that most people could not understand. He has approach all problems with a solution oriented approach and has been focused on social media making sure the truth is always represented for residents. He has served as liaison to every single group within our local government and was the leading voice that helped our township get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our Republican family feels incredible gratitude towards Doug’s service to his township, and the sacrifices he made in order to, not only show up, but deliver on every level. Ask anyone that knows Doug Tomson... He is a class act and represented us with dignity and political leadership where ever, or whenever he served.
